Our story begins in Jalisco, Mexico, with our grandfather's traditional cooking style. Three members of the Flores Family, after emigrating from San Jose (Jalisco) to the States, longed for the cuisine of their childhood. Eager to share their flavors and traditions with the locals, they opened the first San Jose Mexican restaurant in Whiteville, NC, in June 2000. Locals loved our food, cocktails, desserts, and the friendly, familiar atmosphere while enjoying fresh cuisine. Thanks to the great acceptance from our customers, the three brothers and other family members have continued to expand rapidly with more restaurants in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and now, we are excited to announce the newest addition to The Grand Regal Resort.
